On Monday, January 31, 2005, Laura Frances Purdy passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was the love of my life, and I hers. I was by her side through the whole struggle, and she passed peacefully in my arms.
The impact of this event on my life has been astronomical. Laura changed my whole life. You may read more about the situation at her website, The Pale Court. What is important to note here is that the future direction of Life Toward Twilight will strongly reflect my feelings on this experience.
Laura and I had plans to work together, mixing her art with my music. Being unable to do that, I have used some of her existing photography for the CD cover for “We Waited For A Subtle Dawn. A chunk of the music was written for and inspired by Laura. I am slowly working on an album that will be solely dedicated to her memory.
